An original cartoon IP I drew, shaped and grew from zero — purely from love of cute, characterful design. The Geekcats became a community, a merchandise line, and eventually the mobile games Cat Match and Back to Home.

How it began
Building an original cartoon IP from zero — creating consistent, high-quality characters and content twice weekly while simultaneously managing an e-commerce operation, customer service, and growing a community of fans with no marketing budget.
How I grew it
Developed a sustainable creative production system: weekly strip schedules, a character bible, merchandise design and production, and active community engagement. The IP evolved over 11 years, eventually becoming the foundation for two mobile games.
Where it went
Built a brand with 100,000+ Facebook fans, a Top Blog award (2010), and an active merchandise line. The original characters were later adapted into two mobile games (Cat Match and Back to Home), proving the long-term viability of the IP.
